  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs) are mental health professionals trained to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals, couples, and families. We specialize in understanding relationships and family systems, which helps us look beyond symptoms and consider the patterns, dynamics, and environments that shape a person’s experience.

To become an LMFT, therapists complete a graduate program in Marriage and Family Therapy, followed by at least 1,500 clinical hours, two years of supervised post-degree experience, and a state licensing exam. This training ensures LMFTs are skilled in supporting clients through a wide range of relational and individual concerns.
